Le lycée Livet a accueilli une élève allemande dans le cadre du programme Brigitte Sauzay
Dans le cadre du programme Brigitte Sauzay, le lycée Livet a accueilli une élève allemande de 2nde, Havy, pendant six semaines. Le programme Brigitte Sauzay offre la possibilité aux élèves français de passer 3 mois dans une famille d’accueil en Allemagne et d’accueillir leur correspondante ou correspondant pour la même durée chez elles et chez eux en France. Chacune et chacun fréquente l’établissement scolaire du correspondant pendant 6 semaines minimums.
Les élèves n’effectuent donc pas un simple séjour linguistique, mais font l’expérience d’une réelle immersion, aussi bien dans le système scolaire que dans la vie quotidienne du pays voisin.
Havy a fait de nouvelles connaissances et a suivi le rythme de vie français. Elle a assisté aux cours du lycée dans diverses matières. Au début, elle a trouvé que la journée scolaire française était très longue mais s’est rapidement habituée. La cantine du lycée a beaucoup impressionné Havy, par l’assortiment des choix et la très bonne nourriture. Sa famille d’accueil l’a fait visiter Nantes et la région le week-end.
Havy a dit que cette expérience européenne a été enrichissante et que le programme Brigitte Sauzay est une façon efficace d’apprendre le français et de développer ses compétences sociales et interculturelles.

As part of the Brigitte Sauzay program, Livet High School welcomed a 10th grade German student, Havy, for six weeks. The Brigitte Sauzay program offers French students the opportunity to spend three months with a host family in Germany and to host their pen pals for the same period of time in their homes in France. Each student attends the partner school for a minimum of 6 weeks.
This means that the students are not just taking a language course, but are experiencing a real immersion in the school system and in the daily life of the neighboring country.
Havy met new people and followed the French way of life. She attended classes in various subjects. At first, she found the French school day to be very long but quickly got used to it. Havy was very impressed with the canteen at the high school, with the variety of choices and the very good food. Her host family took her on a weekend tours of Nantes.
Havy said that this European experience was enriching and that the Brigitte Sauzay program is an effective way to learn French and develop social and intercultural skills.
